I keep circling the same problem, so I am going to write it out properly this time.
The free tier is too generous. People land, they get everything they need, and they never feel a reason to upgrade. That is a positioning problem, not a pricing one.

Dim everything except the line, sentence or paragraph you are in. Typewriter scrolling keeps that line at a fixed height instead of sinking to the bottom.

For when editing is the thing stopping you. Deleting, cutting and undo are all blocked, not just the one key, so the only way out is forward.

for Debian and Ubuntu.
The first launch is blocked on macOS and Windows. These builds
are not code-signed yet, so your system cannot verify the publisher. Nothing is
wrong with the app, and it takes about thirty seconds to allow it, once.
